# Colors and Textures

The 'Color/Texture' customization option allows you to change the color and/or material of one or more parts of your product 3D model.&#x20;

**Otherwise**, fill out the following fields of the customization options:<br>

## Title

In the 'Title' bar you can type **which component of the product is being customized** (eg: handle, straps, legs, etc.). This will help the customer understand which part of the item they are modifying the color/texture of.<br>

This is simply the name of your customization option.

## Camera Angle

*Angle 3D Configurator* allows customizable camera angles to best showcase each component of the product. This will provide the customer further assistance in visualizing which part of the item they are modifying the color/texture of.\
\
To enable this feature, simply select '**Select camera angle**'. Next, move your cursor across the 3D model until satisfied with the camera angle. Select '**Confirm**' to save your choice.\
You will be able to set a custom angle for each customization option.\
\
This feature is **optional**. Simply leave it unchecked if you do not need to show a particular angle for this customization option.

## Input Type

The 'Input type' feature allows you to **customize the User Interface (UI)** of your storefront. Choose how your color/texture options will be displayed to your clients.\
The current available designs are:

* Color palette (round or squared)
* Bropdown
* Buttons

## Description

In the 'Description' bar you can provide your customer with further explanation of the current customization option. This feature might support the shopping experience, though it remains **optional**.

## Pick Model Components

Select '**Pick model components**' in order to choose which parts of your product are being customized. There are two ways to select model components:

* Use your cursor to pick sections directly on the 3D model.
* Manually select the components from the 'Scene Explorer' section.

The parts picked will be displayed under the 'Selected Components' tab. Once satisfied with your choices, select '**Confirm picking**' to save your changes.

## Add a Color Option

Now that the product is labeled and the specific components have been selected, it's time to apply the actual color/materials change to the model.\
\
In *Angle 3D Configurator*, colors and materials are conveyed via [3D textures](https://www.angle3d.co/faq). Make sure to have the files ready before selecting '**Add a color option**'.

### Display Color Type

This will be the color  in the  'Color palette' you selected as 'Input type'.\
It establishes the color option displayed to the customer on the storefront.

* **Color**\
  Display a flat color.
* **Image**\
  Upload and display a custom image of a material or texture via 'Select image'.&#x20;

### Color Title

Label the color or material option displayed to the customer on the storefront.

### Select Texture

Upload and select the texture file of a color or material via 'Select texture'.&#x20;
